Last night, several Medic units were deployed across the county to visit popular trick-or-treating areas, hand out candy, and maintain a visible presence to encourage drivers to slow down and watch for children.
Chief 10 was stationed in the North Beach and Huntingtown area, Chief 10A covered the Drum Point and Lusby area, and Chief 10C was present in the Prince Frederick area.
Working alongside members of the Calvert County Sheriff's Office, Maryland State Police, and CALS, the combined effort helped ensure a safe and successful Halloween in Calvert County.
