At approximately noon today, emergency units in the Prince Frederick area responded to a report of an accident at the intersection of Route 4 Southbound and Broomes Island Road. Chief 10 was nearby, added himself to the response, and arrived on the scene as the call was being dispatched. EMS personnel assessed one injured patient who had exited the vehicle before their arrival. The patient was subsequently flown to a local trauma center for further evaluation and care.

The vehicle off the road and down an embankment after rolling over several times. The driver (who was belted) was able to self-extricate prior to any units arriving on scene.
