February 22, 2026
As the second snowstorm of the season struck Calvert County, CALS medics worked tirelessly to ensure that residents received advanced life support coverage. Medics responded to numerous calls for assistance, including serious car accidents, disabled vehicles, and injured K9s. Throughout the storm, volunteer paramedics maintained their commitment and resilience. During the storm event MSP aviation medics responded in their patrol car from Andrews Air Force Base to assist Calvert medics on scene with a critical patient.
Utilty10 was staffed by Captain Tim Farr, while Medic 101 was staffed by Lieutenant Tarek Wahab. Chief 10 was also in service to support the overall storm response.
