On the evening of Sunday 9/3/23 Boat 10 and M101 were asked to assist with a standby for the PyroJam festival. This festival is in its 2nd year and has become very popular in Calvert County as a Labor Day weekend event. Approximately 12,000 people showed up at Jefferson Patterson Park to enjoy live music and an amazing fireworks display after dark. Many attendees have started taking their boats to watch the spectacular fireworks from the waters of the Patuxent River. This year with the weather being perfect over 100 boats tied up in the river to watch the show. M101 provided ALS coverage on land with units from St.Leonard VFD, while Boat 10 provided ALS coverage to the many people out on the Patuxent River.
