Mission Statement
To provide professional advanced life support services to the people of Calvert County and the surrounding communities by providing:
- prevention and awareness training to the community to improve the overall safety of our customers;
- effective, fast and safe customer service;
- a highly trained membership of emergency medical service providers; and
- some of the best equipment available to meet the citizens’ emergency health need

Our members are aware that our customers, the public, are the reason for our existence. It is with that in mind that we will work to improve the services provided by the members of Calvert Advanced Life Support to the citizens of Calvert County and its surrounding communities.
Performance
It is understood that in order to maintain consistent and quality care that the members of Calvert Advanced Life Support must maintain a high level of performance. This performance will be measured through annual competency based training and will be driven by a comprehensive quality assurance program.
Safety
The members of Calvert Advanced Life Support will practice with the highest level of safety reasonably allowed to perform its mission. It is important that safety remain as one of the most important values the members harbor allowing for the safest environment possible for our members, patients and bystanders.
Ingenuity
In an effort to provide the highest level of care possible, the members of Calvert Advanced Life Support will develop creative solutions to maintain this care while keeping costs to the community at a minimum.
