CALS runs MCI to close out a busy Labor Day weekend

At approx 2030 tonight units from North Beach, Dunkirk, Hungtintown, CALS were alerted for the rescue reported serious on Rt-260 in front of the "Dash In". An off duty MSP flight medic on his way home from work witnessed the crash and immediately began providing care. Safety officer 1 (Freesland) arrived onscene and established command advising 7 total patients and requesting aviation. Capt.10 (Sturmer) responded from Dunkirk to PEIP as the closets medic unit, M101 (Crouch) cleared CMH as the 2nd medic, M102 (Seymour) marked up responding from St.Leonard as the 3rd medic and Chief 10 (Shannon) marked up as the 4th medic from Prince Frederick as he cleared a family event. Chief 5 arrived on location a few minutes after safety 1 and began triageing all the patients and coordinating with all the incoming units as to who would receive which patients. Within minutes all patients had been assigned units and providers, 2 patients were flown via Trooper 2 and 7, and A68 transported 3 by ground to Childrens National, and A58 transported 2 to CMH.
