CALS Member of the Month October 2015

CALS is pleased to announce that the member of the month for October 2015 is Deputy Chief George Joslyn. George has been very actively participating with various daily tasks at CALS. He has come up with many new ideas to improve CALS procedures. George has accepted the position of Deputy Chief of Training. He oversees all aspects of the training Division at CALS.
George has assisted with the CALS Strategic Plan process and served on the vehicle replacement committee. George has been performing his officer duties with extreme enthusiasm. George also has assisted with orienting new members on CALS procedures. George has showed initiative by inquiring from the Chief if there were any "odds and ends" that we needed help with, and completed the projects expeditiously. In addition, George is a very operationally active member. George is repeatedly in the top 10 for ALS responses and is one of the top PEIP Medics for our organization. George has attended meetings on behalf of CALS and been a liaison to the Educational institutes we work with. George has been the lead administrator of the new EMS Tablet program and has been extremely helpful with filling open shifts on the duty schedule & covering last minute sick calls.

George, THANK YOU!!!

- Chief, Stephen Stanton & President, Stanley Harris

This "Member of the Month" will enjoy many benefits associated with the privilege. The member of the month will Enjoy a Gift from a fine establishment, have a picture displayed in the Day room, be awarded a certificate of appreciation, will be featured in the newspaper, and be issued their own personal parking spot at CALS for the month.
Picking a member of the month is difficult due to the vast number of very dedicated members we have, but it is our goal to honor members for a job well done and make it known that we see "the work performed behind the scenes"
