CALS Member of the Month May 2015

CALS is pleased to announce that the member of the month for May 2015 is Mike Seneco. Mike has been very actively participating with various daily tasks at CALS. He has come up with many new ideas to improve CALS procedures. Mike has accepted the position of Recruitment and Retention Officer. Mike has spent Countless hours writing and implementing a new recruitment and retention program for CALS. Mike has been actively "hitting the streets" and visiting local businesses recruiting and soliciting help for donations. Mike has set-up of the first ever CALS recruitment booth at the upcoming MSFA Convention and Conference this year.

Mike has taken the lead for the operation of scheduling. Mike is instrumental with the CALS Strategic Plan process. Mike has been performing his officer duties with extreme enthusiasm. Mike also has assisted with orienting new members on CALS procedures. Mike has showed initiative by inquiring from the Chief and President if there were any "odds and ends" that we needed help with, and completed the projects expeditiously. In addition, Mike continues to be a very operationally active member, responding on calls in support of the Paramedics and assisting with returning the Paramedic gear to "ready" condition. This is Mike's second term selected as the Member of the Month.

MIKE, THANK YOU!!!

- Chief, Stephen Stanton & President, Stanley Harris

The "Member of the Month" will enjoy many benefits associated with the privilege. The member of the month will Enjoy a Gift from a fine establishment, have a picture displayed in the Day room, be awarded a certificate of appreciation, will be featured in the newspaper, and be issued their own personal parking spot at CALS for the month.
Picking a member of the month is difficult due to the vast number of very dedicated members we have, but it is our goal to honor members for a job well done and make it known that we see "the work performed behind the scenes"
