| During the July 4th weekend, the CALS medic team supported multiple community events throughout the county.
On Friday, July 3rd, CALS assisted with fireworks events in both North Beach and Prince Frederick. Medic 104 and Medic 105 provided advanced life support coverage on land, while Rescue Boat 10 offered coverage on the water for fireworks launched from a barge in the harbor. While the fireworks display took place in North Beach, Utility 10 was assigned to Prince Frederick, where it provided advanced life support coverage at the fairgrounds.
On Saturday, July 4th, the Rescue Boat covered activities on the water in Solomons until it was removed due to incoming storms.
On Sunday, July 5th, CALS supported the rescheduled Solomons fireworks event. Chief 10B provided standby coverage, assisting Solomon’s Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department on the island. |
