| At approximately noon today, emergency units in the south end responded to reports of a vehicle overturned on South Solomons Island Road in front of the CD Cafe. Chief3C arrived on scene within minutes and confirmed that two individuals were trapped inside a car lying on its side.
Personnel from Squad3 and Squad7 worked to safely extricate the occupants, while transport units from Solomons and St. Leonard stood by prepared to receive the patients. The extrication process took approximately 25 minutes. Both individuals were removed from the vehicle and handed over to waiting EMS units.
Both patients were transported by ground to a local trauma center for further evaluation and treatment. |
