CALS Member of the Month January 2015

CALS is pleased to announce that the member of the month for January 2015 is Kim Wells. Kim has been very actively participating with various daily tasks at CALS. He has come up with many new ideas to improve CALS procedures. Kim has been working on the repair and re-design of the alerting system for the station. Kim has volunteered to tackle the EMEDS Verification process and has produced great information and data logging for the EMS report process. Kim is the top “Sleep-in” member for CALS, completing more overnight duty assistance than any other member.
Kim has accepted the appointment to Vice President for 2015 and has been performing those officer duties with enthusiasm. Kim has assisted with orienting new members on CALS procedures. Kim has also showed initiative by inquiring from the Chief and President if there were any “odds and ends” that we needed help with, and completed the projects expeditiously. Kim Wells is a very active member, responding on calls in support of the Paramedics and assisting with returning the Paramedic gear to “ready” condition.

Kim, THANK YOU!!!

- Chief Stanton & President Harris

This "Member of the Month" will enjoy many benefits associated with the privilege. The member of the month will Enjoy a Gift from a fine establishment, have a picture displayed in the Day room, be awarded a certificate of appreciation, will be featured in the newspaper, and be issued their own personal parking spot at CALS for the month.
Picking a member of the month is difficult due to the vast number of very dedicated members we have, but it is our goal to honor members for a job well done and make it known that we see "the work performed behind the scenes".
