| On Friday, while members were assisting EMS colleagues in St. Mary's during a funeral detail, medics from CALS were dispatched to the intersection of Route 4 southbound at Sixes Road in response to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving an overturned vehicle.
Command 10 arrived on scene in less than a minute, accompanied by a chief officer from Company 2, and began assessing the patients involved. CALS members evaluated two individuals and determined that both were classified as priority 3, indicating non-life-threatening injuries.
Basic Life Support units then took over patient care, while CALS members provided support with scene safety and clean up operations. |
