After a year-long process, the new CAR-10 went into service today.

CAR-10 replaces a 2017 Ford Interceptor (Police Explorer) that was previously used as a recruitment vehicle, for student and member classes, and as a back-up medic unit.

The new CAR-10 will continue to serve these roles by transporting CALS members to classes, acting as a rolling advertisement for the volunteer organization, and serving as a back-up medic unit. This new vehicle is a 2025 Ford Police Interceptor.
