Calvert ALS Was recently inspected by representatives from Maryland Institute of Emergency Medical Service Systems (MIEMSS). The inspection was to re-certify compliance with the State Voluntary Ambulance Inspection Program Standards. The Voluntary Ambulance Inspection Program (VAIP) serves to formally recognize, and make readily apparent
to the public, those emergency response vehicles in Maryland that are equipped to a standard of excellence
as defined by the program’s inspection guidelines. Compliance with the VAIP requirements satisfies the
requirements for medical director review of ambulance equipment under COMAR Title 30.03.03.03C(1)

CALS Passed the inspection and was presented with new "seal of excellence" decals to be displayed on every Medic unit.

CALS is Committed to providing the Highest standard of Advanced Life Support care to the Citizens.

I send a "thank you" to the Officers and Members that assisted with the logistical support during the inspection.
