Congratulations to CALS Deputy Chief Adam Weiss for being selected as one of the recipients of the 2023 Calvert County Volunteer Fire, Rescue, and EMS Association's J.W. Freesland III Award. Deputy Chief Weiss was nominated by Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department's Assistant Chief Mikey Clarke. Deputy Chief Weiss was nominated for his selfless actions and outstanding performance during the Walnut Creek Officer Involved Shooting that resulted in the saving of the life of a Calvert County Senior Deputy.
