A busy St Patrick's day was filled with multiple calls for CALS this past Friday as CALS stood up 3 chase cars to be ready for the festivities. Chief 10C A. Weiss (M104), Capt 10 C.Cobb (M101) & Chief 10 (CMD10) were all out providing ALS coverage for the Calvert County. At approx 1500 hrs a "Rescue reported serious" was dispatched in the area of Rt-4 @ Flag Ponds in the south end of the county. Co.7, Co.2, Co.3 all marked up as well as M101, M104 from The office. CMD10 was clearing a call in the "Ranch Club" and added ourselves to call due to proximity. Co.7 units arrived on scene and reported 1 vehicle off the road and into the woods with 1 patient trapped and semi-conscious. M101 arrived onscene shortly after the Co.7 units followed by CMD10. Command Held Co.7, Co3 and the medics on location and returned the rest. Units on scene worked to extricate the patient then packaged the patient for transport to the LZ at Calvert Cliffs.
