On the morning of 12/07/21 CALS and Solomons VFD responded to the Cove Point LNG facility for a reported medical emergency. The caller reported that the problem was occurring on the Pier in the Chesapeake Bay. Due to the location of the call, officers from Solomons VFD activated MSP for a medevac response. Units from Solomons and CALS located the patient and began care then prepared the patient to be hoisted to the awaiting MSP aircraft (Trooper 7). The patient was lifted into the aircraft and transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
