At approximately 11am on April 2nd units from CALS and Dunkirk were alerted for a report of an elderly male that was suffering from a stab wound to the chest. A58 arrived on scene within minutes and began providing care to the priority 1 patient. MSP aviation was "early activated" by the Calvert Control Center due to the reports from the 911 call. Capt. Hiepler on M104 arrived soon there after and assisted units from Co.5 with patient stabilization. MSP Trooper 2 landed in a field close by and the patient was transferred to the Helicopter. Due to the patient being so unstable MSP aviation requested that the CALS medic fly with them to PG trauma.
