CALS Runs Head On in Huntingtown |

At approximately 1500 todays CALS and units in the North end were alerted for an MVC reported serious with CCSO on scene advising 1 trapped. M102 (PMIC Gill) marked up from the Prince Frederick area, Chief 10A (Stockton) lives around the corner and marked up enroute POV to the scene and PA69 (PMIC Katzer). Chief 10 was in the northern end of Prince Frederick and added himself to call as well. PA69, Chief 10A arrived at the same time and found one driver trapped in his vehicle and the other driver laying in the roadway. Chief 10A took the trapped driver while PA69 took the patient laying in the roadway. Chief 10 arrived next and assisted PMIC Katzer with her patient and when M102 arrived he assisted Chief 10A with the trapped occupant. The trapped occupant was extricated by crews from Huntingtown and North Beach within 10 mins and then quickly packaged for transport to PG Trauma. Both patients were Medevac from the scene via MSP Trooper 2.
