Brittney Hawkins, EMT-I, our friend and colleague who passed away in March of 2009, was remembered along with others from Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's Counties who passed in 2009.

Later that evening, at the May meeting of the Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen's Association, Kelley Smith was presented with a Meritorious Life Saving Award for the motor vehicle crash in the early hours of Jan 1, 2010. Kelley S was presented the award by the SMVFA and our own Chief John Hassler pinned Kelley with the award.
