Chief 10 was alerted by communications that M101 had just left the county and would probably OOS for 2 hrs. Chief 10 was in the Prince Frederick area and picked up ALS coverage until M101 could return. Not but 5 mins after going in service Chief 10 an Co.6 units were dispatched a for a subject with multiple amputated fingers. Co.6 arrived on scene first and quickly controlled bleeding and packaging of the fingers. Chief 10 arrived and performed a consult with the hand center and administered morphine for pain management. US Park Police Eagle 2 handled the flyout to Union Memorial in Baltimore.
