June 2015 Member of the Month!

CALS Member of the Month June 2015

CALS is pleased to announce that the member of the month for June 2015 is Captain George Wall. George has been very actively participating with various daily tasks at CALS. He has come up with many new ideas to improve CALS procedures. George currently serves in the position of Captain. He has worked diligently on the upkeep of the PEIP program and recently completed a SWOT analysis of the PEIP program. George serves as the lead CALS Tactical Paramedic provider for the Calvert County Sheriff's office Special Operations Team.

George is instrumental with the CALS Strategic Plan process. George has been performing his officer duties with extreme enthusiasm. George also has assisted with orienting new members on CALS procedures and co-chairs the Experienced Provider Orientation program. George has showed initiative by inquiring from the Chief and President if there were any "odds and ends" that we needed help with, and completed the projects expeditiously. In addition, George continues to be a very operationally active member, George was the top responder for the month of June and frequently covers extra duty time and "Sick Call outs".

The "Member of the Month" will enjoy many benefits associated with the privilege. The member of the month will Enjoy a Gift from a fine establishment, have a picture displayed in the Day room, be awarded a certificate of appreciation, will be featured in the newspaper, and be issued their own personal parking spot at CALS for the month.
