At approximately 3 pm on Tuesday 12/4/18 Units from Solomons and the medic unit were alerted for reports of a subject in the water under the TJ Bridge. As units marked up it was quickly confirmed that this was NOT a jumper from the bridge but just someone that had fallen into the water from the pier. Construction workers from a nearby work site quickly rescued the subject from the water in a work boat and brought her to shore where EMS units from Solomons and the medic unit (M101 PMIC Davekos) quickly began to work at rewarming the patient from hypothermia. Due top the quick actions of the construction workers the patient was only in the water fro approximately 5 mins preventing them from drowning. The patient was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
