Just after 11 am this morning units from Huntingtown and CALS were alerted for an mvc with one reported ejected. M101 (PMIC Schapiro) and CMD10 marked up immediately from the office. A69 and Squad 6 arrived on scene within minutes of dispatch and confirmed 1 patient in a ditch pri-1 Cat-A. Units from company 6 quickly packaged the priority 1 patient and placed him in A69 for further care. M101 arrived on scene and began assisting A69 with care of the pri-1 while CMD10 (Shannon) was assigned the patient in the other vehicle. Due to bad weather in the region all medevac services were down forcing A69 to transport pri-1 to CMH. The patient was quickly stabilized by CMH ER personnel and then transferred to a local trauma center. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to CMH with non-life threatening injuries.
