On Saturday afternoon units from Solomons and the medic unit were alerted for a child with serious burns in the ranch club. A38 arrived on scene and began to treat the child, (PMIC Co. Shannon) arrived soon after and assisted with treatment and packaging. A38 transported to the LZ at the CRE airport where M104 (PMIC Seigel) assisted the other paramedics with sedation for pain management. Paramedics and BLS providers worked together to care for the child while MSP trooper 7 was en route. The child was flown to Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center for further treatment. The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the incident.
