From Head On to Drive by Shooting, Saturday keeps Medics busy

While multiple CALS units were cleaning up from the head on crash and other priority medicals in the county, Calvert Control alerted CALS and Solomons to the report of a drive by shooting in the CRE. Immediately M102 (PMIC Gill) and M104 (PMIC Kreider) marked up for the call as well as Chief 10 from Prince Frederick. Initial reports were that their had been a drive by shooting at a gathering at a private residence in the CRE, dispatch was quickly able to ascertain that only one subject had been shot in the arm. M104 who had just cleared a call in the CRE and was the first ALS unit to arrive on scene and confirmed 1 person shot, non priority and cancelled M102 and Chief 10. The patient was transported to the CRE airport for Medevac by MSP trooper 7 to PG trauma.
