At approx 1600 hrs on 09/10/17 CALS and Co.3 units were dispatched for two subjects shot inside the CRE (Chesapeake Ranch Estates). While enroute Chief 10 and M102 (PMIC Contee) Calvert Control updated the call and advised no one shot but two people stabbed with one subject unconscious with severe bleeding. With the updates Chief 10 requested MSP aviation be started based off of the updates. Chief 10 arrived on scene three mins after the BLS unit and immediately began working on the the unconscious patient. Chief 10 and A37 quickly packaged the patient and began transport to the LZ where MSP Trooper 7 was waiting. Upon arrival at the LZ the patient went into trauma arrest and was rerouted to CMH. M102 worked with St.Leonard A77 and the second patient that was stabbed. A77 transported to the LZ where care was transfered to MSP for the flight to PGH.
